A system using electrolyte pipe power transmission makes it practicable to have multi-path power supply alternatives instead of the star-distribution network typical of metal wire systems.
INDICATIONS
If a fault occurs in a multi-path system, the faulty section can be isolated and repaired while bypasses are switched in to maintain power beyond the faulty section.
Network flows can be switched in and out simply by opening or closing gates to the pipe network.
Development of new switching devices within the industry is possible here, with new approaches open to patenting or trade-secreting.
