The Inglehope Arboretum

At the point where you turn off the main Dwellingup-Boddington Road to approach the property, is situated the Inglehope Arboretum. These images are from the Forests Department brochure, once freely available at the entrance. Government interest in such things has virtually disappeared these days, but fortunately the trees are still there and growing well.

The Arboretum contains over 50 plots of particular tree species thought to have potential for timber production, plus a Nature Trail containing specimens of relatively rare and interesting trees like California Redwood. Many of the labels on the Nature Trial specimens are still present.
